Woolworths Mt Pleasant
Completed in 2019, Saracen was responsible for the initial site acquisition and approvals in conjunction with Woolworths. Designed by Hames Sharley, the project represents a new design standard for neighbourhood centres with a Woolworths anchored mixed use development incorporating a medical centre, pharmacy and cafe on a strategically located Canning Highway site on the Applecross/Mt Pleasant border.
Ravenswood Service Centre
Completed and sold in 2018. Located on a 9,500 sqm parcel of land on the corner of Pinjarra and Beacham Roads, the project involved the development of a retail fuel and truck stop for VIVA Energy (Shell), Night Owl convenience store, coffee drive through and associated food and beverage tenancies.
Rose on Angove
Completed in 2018 and located on the highly desirable Angove Street in North Perth, this project involved the development of 39 residential apartments and ground floor retail space and commercial space.
Caltex Forrest Highway Twin Service Centres
Completed in 2017 in partnership with Security Capital Australia and sold in 2019, this project is one of only two Freeway Service Centres in WA, with dedicated freeway on/off ramps, the two identical service centres are situated on 6Ha of land on either side of the Forrest Highway (northbound and southbound). Caltex is the anchor tenant for the retail fuel, truck stop and convenience store with an adjoining 150 seat food court tenanted by Miami Bakehouse, Boost Juice, Burger Edge, Chook Bro's, Spice Paradise and Sarba's to Go.
Completed in 2017, the project is a 5,000sqm Woolworths anchored retail development located in the town centre of of Byford, one of the fastest growing areas of Perth. Saracenpre-sold the development to a private investor and was responsible for site acquisition, approvals and leasing to Woolworths.
Quest West Perth
Initiated in our Westbridge Property Group JV, this project involved the approval and pre-leasing to Quest of a brand new 72 room 4.5 star hotel in Kings Park Road, West Perth. The project was pre-sold prior to construction commencing and the hotel opened in January 2016.
Initiated in our Westbridge Property Group JV, this project involved the approval and pre-leasing to Quest of a brand new 123 room 4.5 star hotel with in a heritage building in the west end of the Fremantle CBD. The project was pre-sold prior to construction commencing with the hotel due to open in December 2016.
502 Hay Street, Subiaco
The development of Subiaco's largest office building incorporated 10,000sqm of NLA and 215 car bays with ground floor retail and food and beverage fronting Hay Street and 4 floors of A-grade office accommodation fully pre-leased to major national tenants.
Saracen Estates Winery and Duckstein Brewery
An innovative development in the world famous Margaret River wine region which combined a cellar door for Saracen Estates with a craft brewery and restaurant for Duckstein.
Glass House, South Perth
Initiated in our Westbridge Property Group JV, this project involved the detailed design and approval of a 39 storey luxury apartment tower with 149 apartments and an adjoining 70 room boutique hotel. At the time of the approval in February 2015, Glass House was the tallest building approved outside of the Perth CBD. The project is being developed by Sirona Capital, our joint venture partners in Westbridge.
396 Murray Street, Perth CBD
Initiated in our Westbridge Property Group JV, this project involved the approval of a twin tower development on a strategically located CBD site. The project was sold to Fragrance Group in August 2014.
Raine Square, Perth CBD
Raine Square involved the redevelopment of a whole city block in the heart of the Perth CBD into a 57,000sqm development that incorporates 45,000sqm of premium grade office space, retail - including the first Coles supermarket in the Perth CBD, bars, restaurants and two hotels.
A master planned community located in the South West of WA, Vasse Newtown will be home to over 5,000 residents, with four schools, major regional health care facilities, community centre, parks and recreation grounds, an industrial area and a large commercial centre comprising retail, bars and restaurants.
A joint venture with Macquarie Bank, Port Geographe is an integrated waterway development which included 620 lots including 395 canal lots, a marina and village centre.
Northern Gateway Industrial Park - Bullsbrook
In partnership with Sirona Capital, Saracen Properties was responsible for assembling 270Ha of strategically located landholdings and managing the various planning approvals for the properties, which included rezoning the land to industrial and multiple structure plans. The project was sold with these approvals in place in late 2015.
Muchea Industrial Estate
Initiated in our Westbridge Property Group JV, this project involved the acquisition and rezoning to industrial of 150 hectares of land at the terminus of the future Perth to Darwin Hwy and adjacent a road train assembly area. The project was sold by Westbridge following rezoning in late 2015.
Tyne Square, Northbridge
A joint venture project, Tyne Square included the development of an inner city Coles Supermarket, ground floor specialty retail and 82 residential apartments on the floors above.
Treasury Building Competition
Saracen were one of two shortlisted finalists to redevelop the Treasury Building in the Perth CBD. Our proposal included a 65 storey office tower above the existing heritage listed State Buildings, where we partnered with Ascott Hotels to propose a luxury 6 star hotel and associated facilities.
Woolworths Shopping Centre Fremantle CBD
A mixed-use development in the east end of the Fremantle CBD which incorporated a full line Woolworths supermarket, specialty retail and office space.
City Central, Murray Street Mall Perth CBD
City Central was a major mixed-use development on a prime Murray Street Mall site that included the first Woolworths supermarket in the Perth CBD, a discount department store, mini major, specialty retail and office space.
Warrnambool Homemaker Centre
Located in regional Victoria, the Warrnambool Homemaker Centre is 28,500sqm of retail space leased to major bulky goods tenants.
CSC Building, Subiaco
A 6,000sqm office building on a prime site on the corner of Hay Street and Roberts Road, Subiaco that was fully pre-leased to a single major international tenant. The CSC Building was the largest office building Subiaco until the development of our 502 Hay Street project.
The Vale Shopping Centre
The Vale Shopping Centre included the development of a full line Woolworths supermarket and 28 retail tenancies in the high growth south-eastern suburban corridor.
Bunnings Innaloo (former BBC Hardware)
A 10,000sqm hardware store developed for a national retail tenant in a prime location adjacent to Westfield Innaloo on the corner of Odin Road and Scarborough Beach Road.
Erskine Shopping Centre
A neighbourhood shopping centre development anchored by a Coles Supermarket and supported by various specialty shops. The development is located in the southern suburb of Erskine, just outside of Mandurah.
Mt Gambier Marketplace, South Australia
The project involved the approval and pre-leasing of a sub-regional shopping centre in Mount Gambier, South Australia. It included a supermarket, DDS and specialty shops and the development was sold to the anchor tenant prior to the commencement of construction.
